The Building Limes Forum Ireland was established to encourage expertise and understanding in the use of building limes in Ireland in 2005. Forum’s aims are to encourage practical research, to exchange, collate and disseminate information, to educate building professionals, to encourage development of appropriate industrial and craft skills and techniques

Irish Georgian Society

The Irish Georgian Society was founded in 1958 by Desmond Guinness and Mariga Guinness for the protection of buildings of architectural merit in Ireland. Many fine houses have been saved through their enthusiasm and commitment, and the dedication of members and supporters.

The SPAB was founded by William Morris in 1877 in UK; it trains new generations of architectural professionals and building craftspeople to shape this landscape with sensitivity and skill, and works as adviser to local planning authorities. In 2017 was built the irish branch of SPAB.
